Ruth Brayer is an Expert Witness qualified by the Supreme Court of the State of New York and is certified in Forensic Handwriting by the National Bureau of Document Examiners.  She specializes in handwriting authentication of disputed documents.  Ms. Brayer has consulted for and provided expert testimony to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers, the Department of Investigation of the City of New York, the New York City Law Department and Fortune 500 Corporations.   Ms. Brayer is the author of “Detecting Forgery in Fraud Investigations.”  

Ms. Brayer is a seasoned presenter, with over twenty years of speaking experience, addressing audiences in the U.S., EUROPE and ASIA including organizations such as Merrill Lynch, American Express, the New York County Lawyers Association, The Institute of Internal Auditors and others. Ms. Brayer has been featured on numerous TV networks including MSNBC, CNN, FNN and on CBS - Shame Shame Shame with Arnold Diaz. Ms. Brayer has appeared as an expert witness specializing in handwriting identification on several TV shows such as: Judge Maria Lopez, Judge Hachette and Judge David Young.
